Online and Offline Vacuum Oil Purification and Regeneration
TAN DELTA vacuum oil purification and regeneration rigs can be used to process oil on energized or offline transformers. Our rigs can process up to 6000 Liters Per Hour, and because it's energized, the customer never has to take an outage.
Why Regenerated Oil
Regenerated transformer oil is the best quality, environmental and economic choice for your transformer installation and maintenance.
Many utilities worldwide and now locally, specify Regenerated Oil in place of both New Imported and locally manufactured Oil for initial filling of new transformers and for refilling refurbishments. Regeneration maximizes the potential of a diminishing resource by full and safe conversion of used transformer oil to meet or exceed all international new oil standards. Regeneration is a zero waste process and has a negligible carbon and environmental footprint compared to alternative refining and reclaiming methods. Thus, the trend towards regeneration continues as the most environmentally compliant and cost effective option.
Regenerated oil uses a more consistent feedstock, local used transformer oil, which is renewable many times over by regeneration, as opposed to imported oil which is non sustainable, becoming more scarce, is variable in composition and price, and can contain unspecified additives.
Our oil purification rigs can also inject additives, DPBC Blend-back injection, to re-inhibit and prolong the life of the transformer oil.
